ISOFLAMM®
cold-bonding self-adhesive membranes –
waterproofing membranes for special cases
Bonding instead of torching
Special conditions call for special solutions. In some cases, traditional polymer-bitumen waterproofing membranes are not possible to apply, like polystyrene insulation, temperature-sensitive substructures or fire-sensitive areas where torching applications are prohibited.
The solution in such cases is to use self-adhesive polymer-bitumen waterproofing membranes – such as Slavonia’s ISOFLAMM® cold-bonding self-adhesive membranes.
Cold-bonding self-adhesive polymer-bitumen waterproofing membranes usually provide the first waterproofing layer. They are mostly laid on heat-sensitive surfaces such as EPS (expanded polystyrene), vacuum heat insulation or PIR/PUR (polyurethane). They must be covered by a top layer membrane fully applied on it. Self-adhesive membranes are not necessary in the case of mineral wool insulation.
The choice of insulation material depends on several factors: fire protection regulations, available structure heights, the purpose and use of the roof, and the system construction of the building.
ISOFLAMM® cold-bonding self-adhesive membranes – quality that lives up to its promise
The underside of the ISOFLAMM® cold-bonding self-adhesive membranes is equipped with a high-quality cold-bonding self-adhesive compound and a peel-off sheet that is removed just before installation. The self-adhesive membrane achieves its full adhesive force when the next waterproofing layer is torched to the surface or insulation.
