ISOFLAMM^® elastomeric bitumen membranes –

Base layer, intermediate layer, top layer: universally applicable

The ISOFLAMM^® roof waterproofing system, tried and tested for decades, provides a wide range of options. This allows suitable waterproofing membranes to be used in any case – depending on which kind of roof structure or renovation is most suitable for a building.

Slavonia offers two types of polymer-bitumen membranes: plastomeric bitumen and elastomeric bitumen. APP (Atactic PolyPropylene) modified ISOFLAMM^® plastomeric bitumen double-layer membranes, which are long term UV-resistant without protection, are to be regarded as premium products in roof waterproofing, ensuring highest level of quality, well above the OENORM-standard. Whereas the standard range of SBS-modified (elastomeric) membranes comply with the ÖNORM B 3660 standard.

ISOFLAMM^® elastomeric bitumen membranes serve as base sheets, but they can also be used as intermediate layers in multi-layer system constructions. Following customer demands on the purpose and durability requirements, they can also be used as the top layer for entire roof systems in accordance with ÖNORM B 3691 standard, and for waterproofing the basement level of buildings as per ÖNORM B 3692.

 

ISOFLAMM^® elastomeric bitumen membranes – quality that lives up to standard uses

ISOFLAMM^® elastomeric bitumen membranes consist of primary bitumen modified with Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS). They demonstrate excellent flexibility at cold temperatures, pronounced elastic and thermal behaviour according to ÖNORM standards. These attributes allow for its quick application-processing.

Since standard elastomeric bitumen membranes are not resistant against UV-radiation they always require surface protection. ISOFLAMM^® elastomeric bitumen membranes are therefore available with a slate finish in various colours or a sanded surface when used as under – or intermediate layer.
